Get Out and Move!!!

Updated: Mar 26, 2020

Social distancing may be keeping us from our normal routines, but it does not mean you should be a couch potato. There are many activities you can engage in that do not require violating our new (and temporary) personal space rules. I would be happy to assist you with your In-Home exercise programming; all you need to do is reach out to me. However, in addition to that, I would strongly recommend getting outside when the weather permits. This is a beautiful time of year, so get out and walk. I recommend at least 15-30 minutes on most days. In addition, I would recommend varying your pace at times.

Try the following:

5-10 Minutes - Comfortable pace

then alternate a

30 seconds of fast walking or comfortable jogging

with

90 seconds of walking at a comfortable pace

Repeat 3 times to start

Finish with 5-10 minutes of comfortable walking.

The entire workout will take you between 16 and 26 minutes. You can adjust the time and number of the intervals to suit your particular goals
