HIIT or High Intensity Interval Training, is the perfect compliment to the HIT Strength Training sessions we have been providing for the past 30 years. As with HIT, HIIT is a time efficient, extremely effective way to make dramatic physiological improvements, from simply reducing body-fat percentage to improving the performance of world class athletes.

HIIT typically involves aerobically based activities (ie. stationary cycling, indoor rowing, etc…), although it has been adapted to all types of physical activity and, after a brief warm-up, consists of very short bursts of very intense efforts followed by intervals of easy efforts. The ratio of intense to easy intervals as well as the total number of intervals can vary, but the common theme is always a relatively brief workout involving intense intervals coupled with low intensity rest intervals.
